Member of the Center for Colloid and Surface Science (CSGI) for the study of self-assemblies and
Leader and coordinator of research group in nanostructured systems as vehicles for drug delivery; in particular siRNA and molecules of agricultural interest.
Use of Large Scale facilities for the Small Angle Scattering of X-rays and neutrons (ESRF and ILL in Grenoble, LLB in Paris).
Recently, my research interests also involve sustainable systems obtained by green chemistry methods, in particular nanocarriers for bioactive compounds toward bacteria and plants.
PERSONAL SKILLS
Planning research work and new projects in the field of Physical Chemistry of Nanosystems. Extending this activity to relevant nearby areas by putting in place collaboration networks. Design and preparation of new nanosystems for drug delivery followed by their in-depth physico-chemical characterization and application both to nanomedicine and environmentally relevant eco-systems.
Training young researchers and undergraduate students to interdisciplinary scientific activity.
