Pietro Tesi received the PhD degree in computer and control engineering from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2010, where is currently an Associate Professor. Prior to that, he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Florence, Italy, and the University Groningen, the Netherlands. His main research interests include adaptive and learning systems, data-driven control and network systems. Prof. Tesi serves in the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, and is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Control Systems Letters. He is also member in the IFAC Technical Committee on Networked Systems, and a pioneer member in the Centre for Data Science & Systems Complexity, the Netherlands. Prof. Tesi is a recipient of the 2021 IEEE Control Systems Letters Outstanding Paper Award, awarded by the IEEE Control Systems Society.
