L’attività di ricerca si è sviluppata essenzialmente nell’area della meccanica dei mezzi continui e dello studio qualitativo e quantitativo dei relativi problemi fisico-matematici. In particolare gli argomenti affrontati hanno riguardato i seguenti temi:
a) Flusso di fluidi non-Newtoniani con applicazioni a particolari problemi industriali.
b) Flussi in mezzi porosi.
c) Dinamica di materiali elastici non lineari.
d) Flusso di fluidi Newtoniani termicamente espansibili.
e) Fluidodinamica della fisiologia renale e della dialisi.
