Curriculum

Antonella Gori ha conseguito il dottorato in Scienze Agrarie e Ambientali presso l’Università di Firenze, dove attualmente è Ricercatrice RTD-B in Arboricoltura e Coltivazioni Arboree presso il DAGRI. In precedenza è stata RTD-A e assegnista di ricerca nello stesso Dipartimento, ha svolto un periodo di postdoc presso l’Helmholtz Zentrum München (Germania) ed è stata borsista presso l’Istituto per la Protezione Sostenibile delle Piante (IPSP) del CNR.
È Associate Editor di Functional Ecology, Frontiers in Plant Science e Discover Plants, ed è stata membro del comitato organizzativo giovanile della International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS).
La sua attività di ricerca si concentra sulle risposte ecofisiologiche e biochimiche di specie arboree e arbustive agli stress abiotici, con particolare attenzione alla produzione di metaboliti secondari e alla valorizzazione di specie mediterranee per usi ornamentali, alimentari e nutraceutici.

Antonella GORI

Curriculum

Antonella Gori obtained her PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from the University of Florence, where she is currently a tenure-track researcher (RTD-B) in Arboriculture and Tree Crops at the Department of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Forestry (DAGRI).
Previously, she worked as a fixed-term researcher (RTD-A) and research fellow in the same Department, carried out a postdoctoral period at the Helmholtz Zentrum München (Germany), and was a research fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection (IPSP) of the National Research Council (CNR).
She serves as Associate Editor for Functional Ecology, Frontiers in Plant Science, and Discover Plants, and has been a member of the Early Career Steering Committee of the International Association for Vegetation Science (IAVS).
Her research focuses on the ecophysiological and biochemical responses of tree and shrub species to abiotic stresses, with particular emphasis on the production of secondary metabolites and on the valorization of Mediterranean species for ornamental, food, and nutraceutical uses.
