Biografia

Dasara Shullani è assegnista di ricerca presso l'Università degli studi di Firenze. Ha conseguito la laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Informatica presso il Politecnico di Torino e un dottorato in Ingegneria dell'Informazione presso l'Università degli studi di Firenze. Dal 2015 è membro del gruppo di ricerca Image Analysis, Processing, and Protection del Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione, dove sviluppa strumenti di multimedia forensics applicati a contenuti video. Durante questo periodo ha lavorato a progetti di ricerca finanziati dal Consortium GARR, dalla Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) e dal Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca italiano (MUR). Per l'anno accademico 2021-2022 è docente a contratto del modulo integrato di Web Design presso il Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Design Sistema Moda dell'Università degli studi di Firenze.

Dasara SHULLANI

Biography

Dasara Shullani received the master’s degree in computer engineering from Politecnico di Torino and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Florence. She joined the Image Analysis, Processing, and Protection Research Group in 2015 and is now working on creating model-based and data-driven multimedia forensics tools for video content. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Florence. Over the years, she has actively contributed to various research projects funded by prestigious organizations such as the Consortium GARR, the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), and the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR).

In addition to her research activities, she is involved in teaching as a supervisor to many students obtaining master's and bachelor's degrees in computer engineering. Moreover, she has been an adjunct lecturer in the University of Florence's master's program in fashion system design since 2022.

She is a coauthor of a dozen papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. She has been involved as a reviewer for a number of international conferences and journals, including ICASSP 2024, WIFS 2020, ICIP 2021, IHMMSec 2021, IEEE access 2020, IEEE TDSC 2023, and Sensors 2022. She served as a local organizer for the IEEE-EURASIP Summer School on Signal Processing in 2018.
