I am an Assistant Professor of Demography at the University of Florence. Prior to this position, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna, working on the ERC project GENPOP. I also held a post-doctoral research position at the European University Institute, where I completed my PhD.
My main research interests include population and children's health, fertility, social stratification, child development, parental responses, fetal origins, quantitative methods, and causal inference.
