Giovanni Stanghellini, dottore in Medicina e dottore in Filosofia honoris causa, psichiatra e psicoterapeuta, insegna Psicologia Dinamica all'Università di Firenze. Dirige le collane editoriali International Perspectives in Philosophy and Psychiatry (Oxford University Press) e Clinica ed esistenza (Quodibet, Macerata). Ha pubblicato più di 150 articoli Scopus sulla fenomenologia clinica della schizofrenia, della depressione maggiore e dei disturbi dell’alimentazione e sulle basi fenomenologiche della cura psicoterapeutica.
