4, 2, 2015, pp 7:28).

Legenda
Laura Della Corte, Associate Professor, retired since 2011.
During its activity, she has been a Pharmacology lecturer for Medical and Pharmacy students. She has been active in research, mainly in the field of Neuroscience. spending abroad long periods of study and research: in England, Cambridge (1970-72, 7 months/year 1973-1975) where she obtained her PhD in Pharmacology, and in Oxford (1984-1985), in USA, East Lancing (MI, 1991-1992).
Project Leader of a European BIOMED project (1994-1997) involving 5 European Universities. From 1989 to 2011, Head of the Medical Faculty International Relations, Coordinator of ERASMUS (later SOCRATES) and TEMPUS Networks for student and teacher exchanges, with hundreds of students of various degree courses of the Medical Faculty exchanged with 17 European partner Universities.
Mountain lover, during her university years, as a member of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), she did rock and ice climbing on Aiguiles de Trélatēte (Mont Blanc), Gran Paradise, Vajolet Towers (Dolomites) and Gran Sasso Massif.
In the ’68 she was active in the student’s movement.
In 1980 she married the physicist Alberto Dellafiore, her son Paolo was born in 1981, whose daughter Sofia was born in 1999. Her husband died in 2011.
After retirement, her interests have shifted from Science to Art, History and family memories. Within these areas of interest, she attends courses at the Third Age University (UEL), and, through the UEL group “Walking and Admiring”, joining guided tours of exhibitions and Museums in Florence and other Italian cities.
She attended courses on book and print restoration and book binding.
She is active in volunteer work.
Recently, she dedicated herself to collect the family memoirs, publishing in 2023, under the Institute of Sienese Resistance and Contemporary Age (ISRSEC), the booklet “Story of a Man of Honour, Nello Ticci, Anti-fascist Book Seller”, about the life of her grandfather whose bookshop in Siena did host clandestine anti-fascist meetings and then the National Liberation Committee.
Finally, in 2024, she published the book, entitled “Myself and the World”, of the memoirs that her father, the physicist Michele Dalla Corte, had written for his grandchildren. Parts of it, related to his clandestine activity, had been published by Daniele Dominici in the Journal Il Colle di Galileo (Supporting Radio CORA: 'resistant' Arcetri, in the memoirs of Michele Della Corte, vol. 4, 2, 2015, pp 7:28).
