Programma
L'Economia e Gestione delle Imprese studia i problemi di governo e direzione delle imprese, con particolare riguardo alla attività imprenditoriale. Il corso si propone di fornire allo studente un approccio interpretativo allo studio dell'impresa reale, facendo prevalentemente riferimento alle imprese industriali. In particolare sono oggetto di analisi gli elementi costitutivi del sistema d'impresa, le sue fondamentali condizioni di esistenza ed i processi di cambiamento in una prospettiva imprenditoriale.

Francesco Ciampi is a Full Professor of Management at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Florence. He has authored and co-authored a number of papers that appeared in conferences, edited books and journals such as Small Business Economics, Scientometrics, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, The Journal of Technology Transfer, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Management Decision. He is a currently member of the Regency Council of the Florence branch of the Bank of Italy and a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Management Society. He has been teaching under-graduate courses in Management since 1995 and post-graduate courses in Management Consulting since 2004.
