Esistenza ed unicità delle soluzioni per equazioni integro-differenziali astratte in spazi di Banach e studio della stabilità asintotica
Comportamento asintotico delle soluzioni di equazioni differenziali frazionarie mediante la teoria delle funzioni di Karamata e metodi topologici.
Problemi al contorno su intervalli non compatti per equazioni differenziali ordinarie e alle differenze, anche con termini funzionali. Studio del comportamento asintotico e classificazione delle soluzioni non oscillanti per sistemi di equazioni nonlineari accoppiate, con operatore p-laplaciano, che intervengono nello studio delle soluzioni radiali di sistemi di tipo ellittico nonlineari. Espansione asintotica delle soluzioni non oscillanti fortemente crescenti o decrescenti mediante la teoria delle funzioni di Karamata.
Esistenza di soluzioni tipo fronte d'onda per equazioni di reazione-diffusione con termine di reazione monostabile, bistabile o di tipo combustione, anche in presenza di termine di convezione dipendente dalla densità, di diffusione degenere o di termine di diffusione-aggregazione. Unicità o molteplicità dei fronti e caratterizzazione della velocità di propagazione critica.
Comportamento qualitativo delle soluzioni per equazioni differenziali ordinarie ed equazioni alle differenze, nonlineari, di ordine n: persistenza, stabilità delle soluzioni, proprietà di tricotomia del sistema lineare associato, condizioni per l'oscillatorietà e la non oscillatorietà della equazione. Analisi delle differenze tra il caso tempo-continuo e il caso tempo-discreto.

Existence and uniqueness of solutions for abstract integro-differential equations in Banach spaces and study of their asymptotic stability.
Asymptotic behavior of solutions of fractional differential equations using Karamata function theory and topological methods.
Boundary value problems on non-compact intervals for ordinary and difference equations, including functional terms. Study of asymptotic behavior and classification of non-oscillatory solutions for coupled nonlinear systems involving the p-Laplacian operator, relevant in the study of radial solutions of nonlinear elliptic systems. Asymptotic expansion of strongly increasing or decreasing non-oscillatory solutions using Karamata function theory.
Wavefront-type solutions for reaction-diffusion equations with monostable, bistable, or combustion-type reaction terms, including convection terms dependent on density, degenerate diffusion, or diffusion-aggregation terms. Uniqueness or multiplicity of wavefronts and characterization of critical propagation speed.
Qualitative behavior of solutions for nonlinear ordinary differential and difference equations of order n: persistence, stability, trichotomy properties of the associated linear system, and conditions for oscillation or non-oscillation. Analysis of differences between continuous-time and discrete-time cases.
