Research Activity:Development of optical sensors for environmental monitoring, leveraging stochastic optical reconstruction spectroscopy using random lasers and computational spectroscopy. Integral aspects of this research, conducted in collaboration with the Zeiss Innovation Hub at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, entail applications within the sphere of sustainability such as industrial and natural by-products analysis and material sorting. Design and optical characterization of unconventional light sources: solar-pumped lasers based on bio-inspired light harvesting complexes, random lasers electrically and optically pumped.
