Ingegnere energetico con dottorato di ricerca nello sviluppo di tecnologie che impiegano le fonti di energia rinnovabili, integrate in ambito urbano. Attualmente ricercatore post-doc presso il Dipartimento di Architettura di Firenze (DIDA) come esperto in protocolli/strumenti di misura e strategie di mitigazione del cambiamento climatico nel contesto delle Smart City.

Curriculum vitae

Giacomo Pierucci is an energy engineer with a Phd in the development of renewable sources applications, integrated in urban context. Currently, is a post-doctoral researcher under the Department of Architecture in Florence (DIDA) as an expert in measurements procedure/tools and renovation strategies at district scale in Smart city framework.

During the last 10 years he has studied different aspects of environmental-thermophysical-energy issues, with a focus on the optimization of complex “building/plant/user” systems and the exploitation of renewable sources, aiming at wellbeing/comfort of living spaces. His working experience includes both numerical analysis and experimental activities. Giacomo is an expert in dynamic phenomena simulations, measurement design, test set-up realisation, monitoring and data acquisition with post-processing. He has participated in various national/European projects and collaborations with other research groups, public administrations and private companies
