Legenda
She has a clinical and research background in newborn, infant and child neurology, with specific training and expertise in conventional and advanced brain MRI techniques applied to child neurology and for the study of brain plasticity. As a doctoral fellow at Stella Maris Scientific Institute, Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre and Experimental Pediatric neuroimaging Unit in Tuebingen she carried out research and secondary data analyses on brain aspects of brain plasticity and relationship between brain structure and function. As MD, she has experience in fetal, neonatal, infant and child neurology, and she expanded her research to include the application of clinical trial in young infants and children with neurological disorders. She As PI or co-Investigator on Grants from the Italian Ministry of Health, she contributed to the development of innovative and effective rehabilitation strategies for children with CP and other developmental disabilities.
